​National Lofts was the first Breeding Loft to import the sensational pigeons of Gerard Koopman into Australia. We can boast that we have the BEST PRODUCING loft of this strain in Australia. Federation winners have been recorded in every state in Australia trhat we have sold them to. Also in one loft/ Breeders Plate races they have been extremely successful with 2 x 2nd prize ( landed with the winner ) in the Australian Pigeon Punt. Flyers who have struggled to win races at Club and Federation level have greatly lifted their results with the introduction of this family from National Lofts. Several other breeding lofts have introduced this bloodline either directly or indirectly from National Lofts over the years with great success. ​

Dirk is best known for having one of the best breeders in the world, the famous "KANNIBAAL". His offspring have been sensational in thousands of loft the world over. National Lofts was fortunate enough to purchase the only direct child of Kannibaal to be imported in Australia as well as a son and daughter of the "BOURGES" ( a brother of Kannibaal ). The Koopman strain owes a lot of their success to a direct daughter of the Kannibaal " GOLDEN LADY" who was one of if not the best breeding hen ever in Holland.
